Temuka Pottery is a New Zealand icon. It's been a part of kiwi households since 1931.
The first products were made as gifts for clients of New Zealand Insulators’ customers (Temuka Potterys’ parent company). Products made included teapots, vases, tobacco jars and mixing bowls.
Over the years lots of different ranges have been developed. They hit success in the 1970’s with the Riverstone series. The curvy, matt, brown Riverstone sold literally millions of pieces.
If you time it right you can see the artists instore painting the ranges. Pop into adjoining the 100% Homemade Cafe for refreshments.
